They didn’t realize their true condition. “Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.” – Revelation 3:17 (NKJV)
As though that’s going to help… “Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.” – Numbers 14:4 KJV
There’s an obvious thing many people don’t do… “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:11
That will change everything! “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil.” – Revelation 2:2
Bad stuff? “The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: ‘Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.’” – Psalm 52:6-7
