It’s perplexing, really. “And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.” – 1 Kings 21:26 KJV
[Numbers 13:32] And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel.
[Genesis 25:27] And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
