[James 3:8] “But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.”
“The Fools!” “Thus the children of Israel were brought under at that time, and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied upon the Lord God of their fathers.” – 2 Chronicles 13:18
History would have been different. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV
God is the same. “You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.” – Deuteronomy 8:5 (NKJV)
There’s no greater argument. “And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.” – Mark 5:20
The future would have been very different. “My father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.” – 1 Kings 12:11 (KJV)
