He had something useful to say. “Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.” – Job 5:17-18
You can come back from the dead… “Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” – Romans 6:4
Are there times you don’t want Jesus around? “Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.” – Mark 5:17
[1.Kings 17:13, 14] And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.
Sin doesn’t have to rule you. “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.” – Romans 6:12
It happened at midnight. “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.” – Acts 16:25 (KJV)
