Every Word

What are you hearing?   “Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.” – Hosea 2:14

Don’t be led astray.   “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” – 2 Timothy 2:15

You haven’t done enough… “And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” – 2 Timothy 3:15

An ever-deepening sleep… “And all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.” – Revelation 1:7

Ogopogo? “We have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” – 2 Peter 1:16

The closer we get… “We know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in Him purifies himself, even as He is pure.” – 1 John 3:2-3

We have assurance… “Assuredly, I say to you today, you will be with me in Paradise.” – Luke 23:43

Don’t lose heart!   “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” – Psalm 27:13

Deliverance!   “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” – Psalm 34:19

Who do you know who is really wise? “Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.” – Job 28:28

What happened to our cake? “Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.” – Psalm 141:3

Rest is important, but… “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.” – Matthew 25:5
